On Thursday, September 14th 2023, Mayor Ted Wheeler delivered an address outlining his vision for the next year. He announced earlier in the week that he does not intend to run for a third term.
"Portland is a truly remarkable and resilient community; we’ve laid a solid foundation and Portland’s best years are ahead of us," Wheeler said.
