Mayor's Office Holds First Community Conversation on Temporary Alternative Shelter Sites

On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, the Mayor's office held the first of two planned 'Community Conversations' on the first proposed Temporary Alternative Shelter Site. The hour-long conversation began with a brief overview of the site that may potentially be located on SE Gideon. Mayor Wheeler, staff, and representatives of Urban Alchemy proceeded to answer questions from local stakeholders.
