Mayor Wheeler called the proposal “a budget with ears” to reflect how much listening went into this process. Portlanders shared their concerns and priorities directly through emails, letters, social media messages, and City Council testimony.

This week, the proposed budget moves to be approved by the city's budget committee (i.e. City Council) on May 11 at 2:00pm. You can submit written testimony by emailing cctestimony@portlandoregon.gov or sign up to provide virtual testimony by Wednesday May 11 at 1:00pm.

"I want to hear from you as we finalize the annual budget. I am relying on our local community to guide our budgeting decisions," Mayor Wheeler said.
