Below is a statement from Mayor Ted Wheeler on the increased COVID-19-related restrictions that take effect Friday, April 30.
“The key to reopening our city is ending the pandemic, so I am concerned about the significant increase in cases statewide. The growing number of infections demonstrates the importance of following guidance from health officials.
"Here’s what you can do: first, get vaccinated. Second, continue taking known and tested precautions -- physical distancing, face coverings and hand washing. And, third, please continue to support local employers.
