We'll share experiences on trans visibility, and speak truth to power about the impacts of housing and homelessness on the trans community."

On March 31 at 2 p.m., City Council presented its Transgender Day of Visibility Proclamation.

Transgender Day of Visibility celebrates our trans community. It also highlights the need for City Council and other elected leaders to collaborate on needed policy changes and to recognize the importance of trans visibility in combatting transphobia in our culture.

Council heard powerful stories and experiences from invited guests who spoke truth to power on this year's theme: homelessness and housing insecurity.

An impressive partnership of community leaders and City employees worked together to organize this incredible event.
