The City is incredibly fortunate to be navigating a historic surplus of $62 million dollars. These funds provide a crucial opportunity to address our most urgent needs, assist our most vulnerable community members, and stabilize Portland while the upstream investments we’ve made, and will make, in the next fiscal year take shape.

The proposal reflects the Mayor's priorities of Houselessness, Community Safety, and Economic Recovery. The key investments put $18.9 million dollars into addressing houselessness, over $7 million dollars into improving our public safety system, and $2.2 million dollars into supporting economic recovery.
