This afternoon’s press conference—previously scheduled for noon today—has been moved to 1 p.m. to make space for media outlets to livestream and/or broadcast the Memorial Service for George Floyd in Minneapolis that is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. PST.

At 1 p.m., Mayor Ted Wheeler will be joined by City leaders for a press conference to reflect on the sixth consecutive night of demonstrations in the Portland metro area.
