The Portland Water Bureau offers rebates for water efficient appliances and equipment to help you save water and money on your indoor and outdoor water use. Our current rebate opportunities are listed below.
ENERGY STAR washing machines
Get a rebate from the Portland Water Bureau when you purchase an efficient ENERGY STAR certified washing machine. ENERGY STAR certified washing machines use about 30 percent less water than standard models.
Outdoor rebates (irrigation equipment)
Get a rebate from the Portland Water Bureau when you purchase a WaterSense-labeled irrigation controller or spray sprinkler bodies, and efficient multistream rotating sprinkler nozzles.
Commercial air-cooled ice machines
Get a rebate from the Portland Water Bureau when you replace a water-cooled ice machine with an ENERGY STAR certified air-cooled model. ENERGY STAR commercial air-cooled ice machines are up to 80 percent more water efficient than water-cooled models.
Commercial water efficiency incentive
Looking for ways to save water and money at your commercial facility, business, restaurant, or multi-family property? The Portland Water Bureau's custom water efficiency rebate program will pay for half of your approved water efficiency project costs up to a maximum of $5,000.
