Monthly statements option

You can choose to pay every month (instead of every three months) so that your payment due isn’t as big. You pay the same amount either way.

How to register for monthly statements

  1. Log in to our Customer Self-Service site. If you have not registered before on our Customer Self-Service site, select Account Registration on the left sidebar and enter your account information.
  2. Once logged in you will be on the Account Detail screen. Click on the Monthly Statements link on the left sidebar.
  3. Navigate through "Terms and Conditions" and click on the "Agree" button. This signs you up for monthly statements. 
  4. The next page will confirm that you have signed up for monthly statements.

Frequently asked questions

How do monthly statements work?

Our employees read residential customers' water meters every three months. If you choose monthly statements, we'll still read your meter every three months, but we'll then split the charges into thirds, and you'll receive a statement each month.

Do I have to choose monthly statements?

No. You can choose whether you receive statements every month or every three months.

Who is eligible for monthly statements?

You're eligible for monthly statements if you have an active account that we bill on a quarterly (every three months) basis.

Will the amount I pay each month change?

Your bill does change from quarter to quarter, depending on how much water you used and how many days were in the billing period. With monthly statements, that change will still happen. You will have three months that have almost identical charges, and then, after we read your meter again, three months with new identical charges. You'll pay the same amount over the three months as you would have paid over the quarter.

If I don't like monthly statements, can I switch back to quarterly statements?

You can make that change on our Customer Self-Service site. See the instructions above (for changing to monthly statements) to change back. 

If you decide to switch back to quarterly statements, you'll receive all three monthly statements for the quarter you’re in before you’re able to go back to quarterly billing. For example, if you’ve only received the first statement of this quarter, you can expect to receive the second and third statements before the system switches you back to quarterly billing.
