The Water Bureau is investing in reliable water supply in South Portland. We will replace 980 feet of water main (pipe) and two hydrants on South Macadam Avenue between South Bancroft Street and South Lane Street.

The Water Bureau is installing 3,350 feet of water main (pipe) in Southwest Portland. These aging pipes pass under I-5 and SW Barbur Boulevard. A main break here could cause major problems.

The Water Bureau will build new connections between the Quail Park subdivision's privately owned water system and the City's existing public water system. We will also replace the Quail Park water system when it reaches the end of its useful life, or by 2039 (whichever comes first).
