Voter Education Town Halls

We also have four opportunities for Portlanders to join us for a ranked-choice voting presentation and take part in a live mock election. These four community town halls will have Spanish translation and American Sign Language interpretation, and there will be two in-person and two virtual options to ensure everyone can participate.

Next stop: ranked-choice voting

This fall, the City of Portland Elections Office and Multnomah County are placing ads on buses and in movie theaters around the city. Hop on and learn how to fill in your ballot with us!

Two people walk off the bus with ballots in hand. On the right hand side it says: This November, you can rank candidates in order of preference on your ballot.
A pink flyer explains how to fill in your ballot.

Don’t forget to look up! This ad which explains how to fill in your ballot will be featured on the inside roof of the bus.

If you’re still unsure about how ranked-choice voting works, check out this video created by Multnomah County. It goes into detail on how single-winner tabulation will work.
