NE 105th and Marx Pump Station Project

Environmental Services is designing a project to upgrade and expand the aging pump station located at NE Marx Street and 105th Avenue in the Parkrose neighborhood. The project will modernize equipment, increase system capacity, and help protect public health and the environment.

Environmental Services is removing aging sumps throughout the City and replacing them with new sumps and new sedimentation manholes. This work will help control stormwater runoff and sewer backups.
NE 42nd Ave Infill: Killingsworth to Holman

North Slabtown Sewer Project

Environmental Services is beginning the design stage of the North Slabtown Sewer Project. This project will repair or replace approximately 3,569 feet of aging public sewer pipes throughout your neighborhood. Taking these actions now will help protect public health and the environment.
Hillsdale North Sewer Project

Environmental Services is designing a project to repair approximately 8,571 feet (or 1.62 linear miles) of aging public sewer pipes throughout the Hillsdale neighborhood in Southwest Portland. Taking these actions now will help protect public health and the environment.
NE 46th Avenue & Bryant Street Local Improvement District

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is constructing Local Improvement District street improvements on NE 42nd Avenue, 46th Avenue, & Bryant Street. Phase 1 includes a new traffic signal, curb ramps, crosswalks, sidewalks, street lighting, and trees. Phase 2 includes additional improvements.

Environmental Services is designing a project in the Laurelhurst and North Tabor neighborhoods to repair sewer pipes and construct green street planters to manage stormwater runoff from streets and roofs. This project will relieve basement sewer backup risk and reduce street flooding in the area.

SE Ivon Street Sewer Extension

Environmental Services is designing a project to extend the public sewer 180 feet into SE Ivon Street between SE 12th and SE 14th avenues. This will resolve nonconforming sewer connections and provide properties independent connections to the public sewer.

Environmental Service is designing a project to upgrade the 40-year-old Elk Rock Pump Station, located at the end of S Riverwood Road. Increased pumping capacity will accommodate future demands on the sewer system. Improved reliability and safety will protect public health and the environment.
