Urban Forest Plan
The Portland Urban Forest Plan provides direction for the protection, care, and expansion of Portland's urban forest. It also includes actions to enhance and improve our City's urban forest now, and for the future.
The Portland Urban Forest Plan coordinates the management of Portland's urban forest. The plan:
- Prioritizes equity and the needs of underserved communities
- Provides common goals and a unified vision for City staff and community members
- Documents community priorities to direct City decisions about funding, management, policies, and programs
- Presents an implementation strategy to address current challenges
- Requires reporting to ensure transparency and accountability and demonstrate progress toward Plan goals

Urban Forest Action Plan
The Urban Forest Action Plan was developed to help implement the major goals and desired outcomes of the 2004 Management Plan, and contains 63 action items to attain those goals.
