Heritage Tree Permits

Service
All work on Heritage Trees requires a permit. The type of permit depends on the kind of work you propose.
  1. Introduction

    When is a Heritage Tree Work Permit Required?

    Always.

    • Street Heritage Trees: A permit is required for any work on a Heritage Tree in the right-of-way. 
    • Private Heritage Trees: A permit is required for any work on a Heritage Tree on private property.

    Complete the application.

    Submit the application via email to trees@portlandoreogn.gov.

    There is no fee required.
