Starting in 2010, PP&R partnered with communities to measure, map, and identify nearly 220,000 street trees and 30,000 park trees. Information and tools from this project help professionals and community members protect, preserve, and grow our urban forest.
2024 Tree Summit "Growing Our Urban Forest Together"

Street Tree Inventory 2.0
Urban Forestry staff began a re-inventory of street trees in 2022. This work is part of a three year project to update the data from Portland's first complete Street Tree Inventory (1.0) which occurred from 2010 - 2016.
