Reporting Tree Code Violations/ Non-Emergency Tree Problems

You may use this form to report tree Code violations as detailed below. For Tree Emergency's that present imminent hazards please see Report a Tree Emergency or call our hotline.

The form may take 15 minutes to complete and an investigation could take up to two to three weeks to conclude.

  1. Gather information

    For reporting the following problems:

    • Dead or hazard trees
    • Street tree removal, pruning, or planting without a permit
    • Private tree removal without a permit
    • Failure to plant when required
    • Topping of trees
    • Tree grates interfering with street trees

    For other tree concerns, consult one of the service options below. 

    You will need a way for us to contact you, and details about the site of the complaint. You may choose to remain anonymous, however.
