  • Native to Southeastern United States
  • Grows to heights of 50-70‘
  • Needle-like leaves with alternate branching
  • Cones are round and approximately 1” in diameter
  • A deciduous conifer with fall color that progresses from yellow to coppery orange
  • Relatively rare in Portland
