Measure the width of the planting site from the inside of the curb to the edge of the sidewalk. Use this list for 6.0 to 8.4 foot wide planting spaces without high voltage power lines. Other types of overhead wires are okay to plant under unless specified. Trees on this list are generally 40 - 75 ft (height) x 30 - 55 ft (width) at maturity.
