On July 1, Urban Forestry will implement a fully online Tree Removal & Replanting Permit Application process. Applicants submitting via DevHub will no longer have to download, complete, and upload a separate PDF file to process Tree Removal & Replanting applications.

On July 1, 2025 Urban Forestry will implement a fully online Tree Removal & Replanting Permit Application process. Customers applying via DevHub will no longer have to download, complete, and upload a separate PDF file to process Tree Removal & Replanting applications.
Will there be content changes to the fully online Removal/Replant Permit Application?
There are very minor changes to the Application content. The main change is that instead of downloading a PDF of the application, you can now fill it out entirely online through DevHub.
- As of January 2025, site plans and photos are no longer required with the application, though they are encouraged.
- Number of trees for replanting and replant species are required for the application. If these fields are left blank during the application process, the applicant will be sent an incomplete notice.
