The Tree Summit is a free and fun event, open to the public, to increase education and awareness around the importance of the urban forest.
Enjoy a morning full of engaging presentations.
This year's Tree Summit presenters:
- J'reyesha Brannon: Canopy of Stories: Pairing Climate Data with Community Voice
- Axcelle Campana: Community Forestry as Urban Forestry
- Gena Gastaldi: Trees in the Curb Zone project, a collaborative effort between Urban Forestry and PBOT
The following community partners will be available for a social hour and meet and greet:
- Friends of Trees
- Portland Fruit Tree Project
- Trees for Life Oregon
- Oregon Department of Forestry Urban and Community Forestry
- Shade Equity Coalition… and more!
You'll have the opportunity to learn about their work to grow and care about our urban forest.
