Portland Urban Forestry: Planting & Establishment Contracts

Learn how contractors can partner with Portland Urban Forestry to plant and establish trees across the city. This session outlines contract scope, expectations, and key steps in the multi-year planting and establishment process.

Portland Urban Forestry is seeking contractors to partner with the City through multi-year Tree Planting & Establishment Contracts. These agreements support annual planting across public rights-of-way, City-owned properties, and private sites. Contractors provide full-service planting, delivery, and three years of establishment care. 

This in-person information session will provide an overview of the program, contract requirements, timelines, and expectations for participating vendors.

  • The purpose and scope of Tree Planting & Establishment Contracts
  • Contractor responsibilities for installation and establishment care
  • Performance standards and expectations for quality, safety, and coordination with City staff
