Join Urban Forestry in celebrating the reopening of the North Portland Library as we provide a creative workshop in honor of Harlem Renaissance writer, Zora Neale Hurston.

Urban Forestry is honored to host an Afro-centric, botanical craft program for the re-opening of the historic North Portland Library during Black Heritage Month. Come create hand-brooms using tree foraged materials – willow, magnolia, cypress, oak, camellia, and more. Suitable for middle schoolers to adults, or younger children with an assisting grown up.
