Orange, green and grey colors of the bark of the spinning gum tree.
Though common in California, there are not many eucalyptus Street Trees in Portland. Heritage Tree 377 is the only eucalyptus that is currently a Heritage Tree.

Leathery, evergreen leaves and small fruits on a spinning gum tree.

  • Native to Australia, Malesia, and the Philippines.

  • Typically grows 12-30 feet tall.

  • Leaves are evergreen, bluish gray to silver green and fragrant.

  • Smooth, multicolored bark.

  • Fruit is a small capsule, about 0.25 - 0.50 inches.

  • Rare in Portland.
