Jan. 27, 2025 Property Foreclosure Sale

Label: Foreclosure sale
The property foreclosure sale includes multiple vacant and distressed properties with delinquent City of Portland code violation fines and liens. The sale is open to the public and will be held in-person at Portland City Hall, 1221 SW 4th Ave.

Portland City Council has authorized the City Treasurer to conduct a foreclosure sale of the properties listed below. The list is subject to change; current property owners may pay their outstanding liens and penalties before the foreclosure sale to have their property removed from the sale.

Bidding details

  • Those who wish to bid must have with them at the start of the sale:
    • Legal identification, such as a valid driver's license
    • U.S. legal currency or a cashier's check made out to the City of Portland in an amount that covers a winning bid; winning bidders must pay in full the day of the sale. If a cashier's check is in an amount above the winning bid, the City of Portland will process a refund of the difference.
  • Bidders purchase properties “as is”
  • The City does not have ownership or control of the property and cannot provide opportunities for on-site inspections of the land or buildings.
