Overview of Access for All Wallet Options
The Transportation Wallet: Access for All program empowers participants to choose the package of resources that works best for their unique transportation needs. Please note that Access for All Transportation Wallet resources are distributed to eligible participants once per calendar year. Application is required for each year of participation. Read below to learn about the three resource packages, referred to as Options:
Option 1: TriMet Annual Pass (for individuals)
Option 1 provides a TriMet Annual Pass for unlimited transit rides on TriMet services (like the bus, MAX Light Rail, WES Commuter Rail, and Portland Streetcar).
Option 1 is best for those who are:
- 18 years or older
- Registering as an individual (as opposed to a household)
- Plan to primarily ride transit throughout the year
- Don't primarily use TriMet LIFT
Option 1 Wallets include:
- Transit: TriMet Annual Passes are digitally loaded onto existing Honored Citizen Hop cards or, in some cases, a newly issued Adult Hop card
- Participants (or partner organizations) will receive an email once the annual pass has been processed
Option 2: All Modes (for individuals)
Option 2 is for people who use transit (TriMet buses, MAX Light Rail, WES Commuter Rail, and Portland Streetcar) and transportation services like bike-share, e-scooter share, ride-share (Lyft/Uber), and taxis.
Option 2 is best for those who are:
- 18 years or older
- Registering as an individual (as opposed to a household)
- Transit riders who also use other transportation services like bike-share, e-scooters, ride-share (Lyft/Uber), or taxis
Option 2 Wallets include:
- Transit: TriMet funds loaded onto a new or existing Hop card
- Bike-share: A BIKETOWN for All membership activation code and information on Adaptive BIKETOWN
- Prepaid card: A $75 prepaid card that can only be used on transportation services like transit (TriMet), bike-share, e-scooter share, ride-share (Lyft/Uber), or taxis (and excludes gas and parking)
Option 3: All Modes (for households)
Option 3 is for households (of up to five people) to use transit (TriMet buses, MAX Light Rail, WES Commuter Rail and the Portland Streetcar), and transportation services like bike-share, e-scooter share, ride-share (Lyft/Uber), and taxis.
Option 3 is best for those who are:
- 18 years or older (main applicant only)
- Registering up to 5 people living at the same address
- Transit riders who also use other transportation services like bike-share, e-scooters, ride-share (Lyft/Uber), or taxis
Option 3 Wallets include:
- Transit: TriMet funds loaded onto new or existing Hop cards (amount determined by size of household)
- Bike-share: BIKETOWN for All membership activation codes for household members 16 years and older, as well as information on Adaptive BIKETOWN
- Prepaid card: One prepaid card per household that can only be used on transportation services like transit (TriMet), bike-share, e-scooter share, ride-share (Lyft/Uber), or taxis (and excludes gas and parking). Amount determined by size of household.

Program participants with additional questions are advised to contact staff members at the community-based organization they signed up through. Community-based organization staff have received training on the Access for All program and have access to additional materials that can help answer FAQs.
