PBOT will improve the dirt path found in the right-of-way on NE 106th Avenue intersecting with NE San Rafael Street, providing a more accessible walking, biking, and rolling path on the Safe Routes to School priority network. Improvements also to include ADA ramp connections and lighting.

To Be Completed in 2025-2026.
PBOT will build new neighborhood greenway on four corridors in the Portsmouth and University Park neighborhoods. Neighborhood greenways are quiet, slow streets that prioritize people walking, bicycling, and rolling, and provide connectors between neighborhood parks, schools, and business district.
Construction to be complete by summer 2026
This project will fill the existing sidewalk gap on the north side of SE Cooper Street, pave SE Cooper Street from SE 62nd Avenue to existing pavement, install a new sedimentation-sump maintenance hole, and install 3 new curb ramps.
To Be Completed in 2026
Project will enhance the existing bike lanes on SE Holgate Boulevard and install a walkway along the east side of SE 128th Avenue to support students and families traveling to Gilbert Heights Elementary. Improvements include bike lane concrete separators and a protected walkway on 128th Avenue.
