SW Portland Neighborhood Bike Fair

The Southwest Neighborhood Bike Fair at the Multnomah Arts Center is a free, all-ages community event hosted by the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT)!
3:00 pm to 5:30 pm

Event Details

Where: Multnomah Arts Center, 7688 SW Capitol Highway, Portland, OR  97219 

When: Thursday, September 3, 2026, 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Activities are FREE and there’s something for everyone, including: 

  • Learn to ride lessons for kids and adults

  • Bike skills course to practice safe riding

  • Free Quick-fix Bike Repair to make sure your bike is rolling smoothly and safely  

  • Guided community rides: low-stress 1-2 mile rides to practice biking on city streets - Community ride is cancelled due to forecasted rain and thunderstorms.

  • Free helmet distribution and helmet fitting to make sure you're protected

Event will happen rain or shine! Participants are encouraged to bring their own bikes. There will be bikes of various sizes available for children and adults to borrow for the Learn to Ride lessons.

This event is hosted in partnership with the Community Cycling Center.
