The I-5 closure is the perfect time to consider shifting your trip to modes you haven't used in a while, like transit, carpooling, or biking. We are here to help you get started!

Energize your day and join the Special Edition: I-5 Closure N & NE City Bike Bus for a beginner friendly community ride to downtown. This special weekly edition of City Bike Bus during the I-5 closure will operate exclusively on the N University Park and NE Cully City Bike Bus routes.

What is a Bike Bus?

A bike bus is a group of students—but in this case, adults—biking to school—but in this case, downtown—together. Bike buses have been around for decades, but they have become increasingly popular in recent years. To learn more, read this Bike Portland story about the City Bike Bus.

Each bike bus will depart from their start location at a different time and arrive at Salmon Street Springs at 8:15 a.m.
