Saturday, May 9, 2026
Meet at Woodstock Library (6008 SE 49th Ave, Portland OR 97206) at 10 a.m. and ride at 10:30 a.m.
Ride ends at Sellwood Library around 11 a.m.
11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Bike to Books activity at Sellwood Library's Community Room.
This is a moderate-pace (8-10 mph), no drop ride, and will be approximately 4 miles. This event is free and open to everyone.
Activities:
Ride your bike with us from one Southeast library to another using low-stress bike routes. The ride is approximately 4 miles.
After the ride, stay at Sellwood Library's Community Room to participate in a Bike to Books contest activity! We'll have a space set up for kids and adults to draw and color in their Bike to Books design sheets. You can submit your design right then and there for a chance to get your design installed on Portland city streets!

Need a bike?
Are you bike-curious or don't have a bike you can use? There are still options for you to participate in the ride:
- Consider riding with BIKETOWN—Portland's easy, affordable, and super-fun way to get around. Just hop on one of their e-bikes and be on your way. Check the BIKETOWN map for station locations around town.
- Consider renting a bike or purchasing a bike from one of Portland's bike shops.
