Hazelwood Neighborhood Bike Fair

The Hazelwood Neighborhood Bike Fair at Menlo Park Elementary is a free, all-ages community event hosted by the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT)!
3:45 pm to 5:45 pm

Event Details

Where: Menlo Park Elementary School, 12900 NE Glisan St, Portland, OR  97230  (enter through parking lot on NE 128th Ave, just south of NE Glisan St.)

When: Friday, April 24, 2025, 3:45 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

Activities are FREE and there’s something for everyone, including: 

  • Learn to ride lessons for kids and adults

  • Bike skills course to practice safe riding 

  • Free Quick-fix Bike Repair to make sure your bike is rolling smoothly and safely  

  • Guided community ride: a low-stress 1-2 mile ride to practice biking on city streets

  • Free helmet distribution and helmet fitting to make sure you're protected

Participants are encouraged to bring their own bikes. There will be bikes of various sizes available for children and adults to borrow for the Learn to Ride lessons.

This event is hosted in partnership with David Douglas School District and Community Cycling Center.
