Event details

This ride will tour public art and Public Works sites that mimic natural waterways,  including the Oregon Convention Center rain garden and the downtown Open Space Sequence.  It will be a relaxed paced ride (8-10 mph) along low-stress bikeways, with frequent stops to show off gems of Portland art, architecture and inspiration that represent our connection to the natural world, specifically rivers and streams.   We will have experts from Portland Water Bureau, Bureau of Environmental Services and the Halprin Landscape Conservancy along to provide color commentary.
