Almost ready to start commuting by bike but you still have a few questions?  This workshop will cover how to:

  • plan a low-stress route 
  • how to solve issues of work attire, arriving fresh, and parking your bike securely at your destination
  • safe riding technique in traffic and weather
  • simple maintenance for your bike
  • and more!

Presented by Timo Forsberg and Claire Bach, Active Transportation staff at the Portland Bureau of Transportation, with over 2 decades’ experience helping folks new to biking to get comfortable riding in Portland.

Free and open to everyone.

Meet us at Lloyd Cycle Station, 700 NE Multnomah Street, Level P1: 

In Hassalo Plaza (the pedestrian plaza located at NE 8th and NE Hassalo St), take the glass elevator down to P1. Follow signs in the parking garage for Lloyd Cycle Station.
