Special Edition: I-5 Closure N & NE City Bike Bus - October 14

Shift Your Trip! Try bike commuting from North and Northeast to downtown during the I-5 closure. Every Wednesday from Sept. 16 to Oct. 14. This weekly event during the closure is organized by the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT).

Bike Bus to Arbor Day

Join the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) for a bike bus ride to Arbor Day, hosted by Portland Parks & Recreation Urban Forestry! Along the way, we will see heritage trees, tree planting projects and new bike infrastructure.

See and Be Seen Ride - Ride Through The Seasons

Join us for a ride showing off your favorite lights, reflective gear, and other stuff that keeps you safe during the dark months. We'll share some of our tips as well as show off some projects improving street lighting in East Portland.

Waterways, Real and Metaphoric Ride

This is a no-drop, easy-pace loop ride perfect for folks new to the bike or just getting back on their wheels. About 9 miles long, round trip, mostly in the inner eastside and downtown.

Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day 2026

Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day gives children the chance to celebrate Ruby’s courage by walking to school and is the perfect opportunity to teach children about the civil rights movement and make connections to today’s collective efforts for change.
