Full scholarships are available to Portland residents for "Portland Traffic & Transportation," a noncredit course at Portland State University sponsored by the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT).

Application should take 5-10 minutes to complete.

This 10-week, noncredit, Portland State University (PSU) course is only open to Portland residents. Applications for the Fall 2020 class are now closed. The application portal for Fall 2021 will open in August 2021.

You may also inquire about paid direct enrollment options:

  • You may take the course for one undergraduate or graduate credit at PSU. Contact PSU's Urban Studies and Planning Department for more information.
  • You may take the course as a paid, noncredit/audit class or as a non-admitted, one-credit class. Contact the PSU Admissions Office for more information.
  • Full-time PSU students can register as you would for any other course.

Limited space available for 30 students. Application does not guarantee placement in the class. Class spots are awarded by a lottery. Some seats are held to ensure class diversity with representation from all geographic areas of Portland and our BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community. Applications for the Fall 2020 class are now closed.
