Offered to eligible individuals cited for running a red light or violating a speed limit at a Portland location equipped with a red light camera or fixed speed safety camera, or who are cited by the Portland Police Bureau's mobile photo enforcement unit.

Oregon Friendly Driver Program
The Oregon Friendly Driver program is a free 90-minute interactive class aimed at educating people on the best and safest ways to share the road when driving.
Driver Education for Immigrants and Refugees
No course dates are available at this time
In addition to standard course offerings, education training has been available for new immigrants, refugees and English language learners over the age of 18.
On completion of course, there may be opportunities for lower auto insurance rates from participating carriers, and driver license behind-the-wheel testing through ODEC rather than the DMV. A limited number of vouchers for driver license test fees are available.
This program is a partnership of the Portland Police Bureau, the Portland Bureau of Transportation, the Oregon Driver Education Center, Oregon Impact and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
