TNC Drivers’ Advisory Committee Townhall

To accomplish the Transportation Network Company (TNC) Drivers’ Advisory Committee goal to hear public testimony from as many drivers as possible, there will be a dedicated space provided every two months. These Townhall meetings will provide a space for Drivers to provide their testimony on any topic related to the operations of TNCs in the City of Portland. Representatives from the TNC Drivers’ Committee and the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will be present to receive testimony and provide answers to questions drivers may have.

The Townhall differs from a TNC Drivers’ Advisory Committee meeting in that the Townhall does not provide a space for Committee members to take action on Committee business. No topics will be discussed or voted on while at a Townhall. Committee members who are present are primarily there to listen to drivers, receive public testimony, and assist drivers in the process of developing potential topic submissions for the Committee to review at a full meeting.

Questions and concerns addressed directly to the TNC at a Townhall will be sent to the TNC representatives on the Committee to provide time for the companies to address these questions and concerns at the next Committee meeting.

Meeting location will be in room 203 of the Portland Building.
