Use the form BELOW to submit a complaint if you've encountered any issues or inappropriate actions by a towing company in the City of Portland. PLEASE NOTE: This Office only has authority to investigate certain tows that occur in Portland.

Gather your information

You must have information relating to the towing incident in question. This is usually found on the tow slip/invoice.

In the absence of the tow slip, you must at least have information on:

The date and approximate time of the tow

The name of the tow company involved 

The VIN or license plate number of the towed vehicle

Damage claims should be addressed with the tower directly. You may also consider a claim with your insurance carrier, the State of Oregon, or in civil court:
