The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) wants you to get home safely from your New Year's Eve celebrations. We are providing a limited number of coupons for discounted rides in a Uber or Lyft. Make plans to leave your car at home this year.
Safe Ride Home coupons are valid for rides starting in Portland city limits between 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and 4:00 am on Thursday, January 1st, 2026.
$10 off a Lyft ride in Portland: This coupon is now expired.
$10 off an Uber ride in Portland: This coupon is expired.
- 1 coupon per person. Limited quantities available. Rides must start in the City of Portland.

Hop on TriMet buses or MAX light rail, Portland Streetcar or C-TRAN service.
On Dec. 31, TriMet will once again offer free rides systemwide after 8 p.m. through the end of service. Buses will run on their regular schedules, while extended late-night service on the MAX Blue, Green, Orange and Yellow lines will keep riders moving past the stroke of midnight.
