The City of Portland wants you to get home safely from your New Year's Eve celebrations. We are providing a limited number of coupons for discounted rides in a taxi, Uber, or Lyft.
Safe Ride Home coupons are valid on rides starting in Portland between 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, and 4:00 am on Wednesday, January 1st, 2025.
Paper coupons for up to $20 of a taxi trip will be available at many locations in Portland where people are celebrating. Look for flyers when you are out, then ask staff for a coupon.

Limited quantities available. Rides must start in the City of Portland. Coupons and discount codes are fully funded by the City of Portland's Bureau of Transportation. For those who plan to celebrate, help make our streets safer by making Safe Ride Home part of your plans.
Want to get home via rail or bus?
Hop on MAX and TriMet buses and ride for free Tuesday, Dec. 31, starting at 8 p.m., through Wednesday, Jan. 1, at 3 a.m.
Portland Streetcar will lift fares from 8:00 p.m. through 12:00 a.m. and C-TRAN will lift fares after 6:00 p.m.
