As part of the E-Scooter Program, scooter companies are required to offer discounted pricing for Portlanders living on low incomes. This page contains information about each company’s discounted pricing plan and how to apply.
Lime Access (green scooters)
Who qualifies?
Users who demonstrate eligibility for or participate in the following programs, but not limited to:
- SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
- Medicaid
- Reduced-rate utility bill
- Free or reduced school lunch program (NSLP)
- TriMet Honored Citizen pass holders (income-eligible)
- Social security supplemental income
- Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
- Subsidized housing

Scooter Community Pass by Lyft (gray/orange scooters)
Who qualifies?
Users who demonstrate eligibility for or participate in the following programs, but not limited to:

- Oregon Health Plan (OHP)
- Reduced-rate utility bill (LIHEAP)
- Unemployment assistance
- Free or reduced school lunch program (NSLP)
- Pell Grant recipients
- TriMet Honored Citizen pass holders (income-eligible)
- Social security supplemental income
- Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
- Subsidized housing
