What construction impacts you can expect on SW Capitol Highway.

PGE will begin pole relocation on July 20. Expect spot lane closures with flaggers during this work which will take approximately one month. Construction by City of Portland along SW Capitol Highway proper is delayed until late fall 2020 or early 2021 as the city and contractor continue price negotiations and complete final engineering plans. Construction in three of the four stormwater basin locations (Multnomah-North, Multnomah-South, and 42nd/Woods Creek) may begin as soon as August, starting with additional tree removals.
