In 2019, PBOT developed a plan for 82nd Avenue to identify capital improvement projects, policies, design practices, and other recommendations to support the incremental transformation of 82nd Avenue into a civic corridor, as envisioned in the Portland 2035 Comprehensive Plan.

Bike-friendly bumps

Information
“Bike-friendly bumps” are a new tool being tested on neighborhood greenways to slow vehicles and provide a more convenient trip for people biking. PBOT conducted a public survey and observed their use in early 2023 to inform if and how bike-friendly bumps will be deployed in the future.
The Columbia/Lombard Mobility Corridor Plan is a plan to address safety, mobility, and access for freight, active transportation, and public transit both along the corridor (east/west) and across it (north/south).
This strategy was developed in coordination with the Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability’s Better Housing by Design project revising development and design standards in Portland’s multi-dwelling zones.
