Welcome to the Plaza Partner Resource Page!

If you encounter any issues at a plaza, please explore the various city resources below to find solutions and support that best fit your needs.

PBOT Resources

  • Community Events in Plazas: Visit our permitting page to host an event. Most permits are free.
  • Illegally Parked Vehicles: Contact PBOT Parking Enforcement at 503-823-5195. For hours and other information visit our Report an illegally parked vehicle page.
  • Abandoned Autos: Call PBOT’s Abandoned Auto hotline at 503-823-7309. For more information visit our Report an abandoned vehicle page.
  • Urgent Maintenance: Call 503-823-1700 or email PDXRoads@portlandoregon.gov for 24-hour response to road hazards, potholes, sidewalk hazards, urgent maintenance, or repair of traffic signs or signals.
  • Non-Urgent Traffic Safety Concerns: An online form is available to report non-urgent traffic safety concerns.
  • Other Nuisances: Use the PDXReporter App or online tool to report other common nuisances such as abandoned autos, graffiti, illegal parking, sidewalk café violations, sidewalk trip hazards, and overgrown vegetation. Work zone concerns and streetlight outages may also be reported there.

People Experiencing Mental Health Crisis

Reach Portland Street Response by calling 503-823-7773 between 6am to midnight. Outside of these hours, please call Project Respond (details below)

Currently, Portland Street Response will be dispatched when a caller reports:

  • A person who is possibly experiencing a mental health crisis; intoxicated and/or drug affected. This person is outside of a publicly accessible space such as a business, store, public lobby, etc.
  • A person who is outside and down, not checked.
  • A person who is outside and yelling.
  • A person who needs a referral for services, but does not have access to a phone line.

AND

  • There are no weapons seen.
  • The person is not in traffic/not obstructing traffic.
  • The person is not violent towards others (physically combative, threatening violence, assaulting).
  • The person is not suicidal.
  • The person is not inside of a private residence.

Note: Portland street response is available 7 days a week 6am-12am. Outside of these hours, partners may reach out to Project Respond by calling 503-988-4888 and ask for Project Respond (24/7 availability).

Project Respond Responds to:

  • Welfare checks
  • Low and High – Acuity crisis response
  • Voluntary/Involuntary Hospitalization
  • Face to face mental health assessment
  • Follow up support and referrals
  • Does not respond to medical emergencies (call 911)

Still not sure who to call? 311 can help with any questions or local government service needs within Multnomah County. The 311 line is open 7 days a week - 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. excluding federal holidays.
