Saturday, March 28

  • Work Party at Arleta Triangle Square: 10AM to 12PM. Meet your neighbors and spend a couple of hours doing light maintenance, clean ups, and discussing ideas to improve Arleta Triangle Square. All ages welcome! Support you neighborhood. Hosted by the Mt Scott-Arleta Neighborhood Association.

Saturday, April 4

  • Trans Day of Visibility at St Johns Plaza: 3PM to 4:30PM. Celebrate the history of transgender and non-binary people and their allies. Neighbors, youth, and adults join to celebrate resilience and joy of expressing themselves authentically. The event, hosted by Worth Fighting For St Johns, will include speakers, poster making, music, and more.

Sunday, April 12

  • Janet Julian Memorial at Concordia Commons: 2PM to 4PM. Janet Julian was a beloved Portland, Oregon-based musician, artist, and community member who passed away on January 6, 2026, following a battle with cancer. Known for playing with the folk-rock group Petty Cash at the Laurelthirst Pub, she was a vibrant part of the local music and arts scene.

Saturday, April 18

  • Neighborhood Cleanup at Concordia Commons: 10AM to 12PM. The Concordia Neighborhood Association along with SOLVE is hosting a litter cleanup in the Concordia neighborhood! The Concordia Commons will the meetup place and home base. Coffee and snacks will be available to energize people. Join with community members to keep the neighborhood clean! 

Saturday, April 25

  • Work Party at Arleta Triangle Square: 10AM to 12PM. Meet your neighbors and spend a couple of hours doing light maintenance, clean ups, and discussing ideas to improve Arleta Triangle Square. All ages welcome! Support you neighborhood. Hosted by the Mt Scott-Arleta Neighborhood Association.

Every Saturday in May

  • Saturdays in the Square at St Johns Plaza: 11AM to 4PM. Saturdays in the Square is a community-centered event aimed at reactivating the central plaza in downtown St. Johns. Each Saturday will feature local makers, artists, and musicians, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere that reflects the neighborhood's creativity and diversity. The event supports hyper-local economic vitality while strengthening connections among residents, businesses, and visitors.

Saturday, May 9 to Sunday, May 10

  • The Arts and Crafts Kaleidoscope at Arleta Triangle Square: 11AM to 5PM. Explore handcrafted goods from talented local artisans, including paintings, ceramics, jewelry, textiles, and more. Located in the heart of Southeast Portland, this festival is a celebration of local talent, fostering connections between artists and the community. Whether you're an art lover, a music enthusiast, or just looking for a fun weekend activity, this event is not to be missed!
    • Enjoy Music from local acoustic musicians and Portland-based DJ's, adding the perfect soundtrack to a day of creativity and community.
    • Savor delicious bites from a featured local food cart, serving up tasty dishes.
    • Quench your thirst with a cold crisp beverage at the beer garden
