Implementation Survey Results

In May and June 2023, PBOT staff asked community members for feedback on the next round of Southwest in Motion projects. Due to the limited funding available, $500,000 from the Fixing Our Streets 10-cent gas tax, only low- to medium-cost projects from Southwest in Motion are eligible to advance. Over 140 people participated in the survey to help inform next steps for Southwest in Motion. Thank you to all who provided feedback through the survey.

Design and engineering update: Boones Ferry Road from Orchard Hill Road to city limits

The Boones Ferry Road walkway project from Orchard Hill Road to city limits is in early design and engineering. This project was the top priority in the recent survey. Community members in the Arnold Creek neighborhood advocated for this project during the Southwest in Motion planning process and have continued to call for safety improvements since the adoption of the plan.

The Boones Ferry Road project website will be available soon and will be featured on the main Southwest in Motion web page.
