  • SE Nehalem / Harney Street Neighborhood Greenway (website forthcoming)

Background

Portland City Council adopted the Lower Southeast Rising Area Plan in 2024. The Lower Southeast Rising Area Plan addresses land use and transportation challenges in the Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood and nearby areas, including parts of the Woodstock, Mt. Scott-Arleta, and Lents neighborhoods. Project staff conducted outreach between 2021 and 2023 to guide the plan's recommendations.

PBOT recently received funds from Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF) to implement transportation projects from the Lower Southeast Rising Area Plan. The projects are funded under PCEF Strategic Program 30: Active transportation small capital projects.
