In progress: Last week, contractors with PBOT constructed sidewalks on the south side of SE Mill Street, just east of 82nd Avenue. Sidewalks are also coming soon to the north side of SE Mill Street. In addition to new sidewalks, PBOT will plant new street trees and pave a short section of SE Mill Street approaching SE 82nd Avenue. As a part of this project, drainage on SE Mill Street was also improved through the installation of new underground sumps and maintenance holes. The sidewalk and street tree improvements on SE Mill Street were funded by an allocation from the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF).
Before: SE Mill Street, just east of 82nd Avenue lacked sidewalks, street trees, and the street was potholed.
