PBOT began its multi-year effort to bring urgent safety and maintenance repairs to 82nd Avenue with the installation of new speed reader boards and traffic signal controllers on the 7-mile corridor. View PBOT’s recent press release to learn more about these improvements.

Community Engagement Snapshot now available

In fall 2022, PBOT conducted community engagement to raise awareness of Building a Better 82nd and understand community priorities for the street to help guide future investments. PBOT invited participation in the online open house and survey through in-person local events, community walks, and gave presentations to community stakeholders. Additionally, PBOT conducted outreach through emails to our 82nd Avenue project subscriber list, advertisements in local publications, posts on social media, and mailed postcards to all properties within a quarter-mile of 82nd Avenue. View PBOT’s winter 2022-2023 Community Engagement Snapshot to learn more about these outreach activities and what the project team has heard from community during this initial round of engagement.
