About the Committee
Metro Council established a steering committee in June 2022 to ensure the 82nd Avenue Transit Project develops a transit design that has community support and can be implemented.
The Committee is charged with recommending an alternative for high-capacity transit in the 82nd Avenue corridor by summer 2024 and is comprised of community members and leaders or elected officials from Clackamas County, Metro, Multnomah County, City of Portland, Port of Portland, Washington County, and four community-based organizations.
This meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Hybrid event, available online and in person.
