PBOT awarded $20 million by the US Department of Transportation for major safety investments on 122nd Avenue from SE Foster Road to NE Sandy Boulevard

Funding is provided by the Safe Streets and Roads for All Grant Program established by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to support the US Department of Transportation’s goal of zero deaths and serious injuries on our nation’s roadways

PBOT receives $17 million in federal funds for projects on NE 122nd Avenue, N Willamette Boulevard, NE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and on the SE Stark/Washington streets corridor in East Portland

The funding, which is matched by PBOT, is being distributed through Metro’s Regional Flexible Funding Allocation program
